ARE YOU A SAINT? OR A SINNER?
HOLD ONTO YOUR KNUCKLES!
THIS NEW COMEDY WILL FIND OUT!

There’s a new fundraising diva in town and Vicki Quade, co-creator of the hit show Late Catechism, knows just what to do with her. In her new show, Saints & Sinners, Quade brings her latest character to the parish festivities.

In this comedy, the archdiocese sends Mrs. Mary Margaret O’Brien to rescue a parish. She’s head of the archdiocese’s fundraising department. And, years ago, she happened to have spent a few years in the convent. She understands about fundraising!

Tonight, she steps in to create a calendar of famous saints and notorious sinners….with the help of the audience.

“As the creator of  Late Nite Catechism, Vicki Quade knows a thing or two about what makes a one-person show successful,” says the Pioneer Press, Chicago.

Quade calls the show “a funny look at fundraising.”

“If you're familiar with Quade's funny stage style, you probably realize her angry (yet good-hearted and humorous) nuns share their opinions with laughing audiences whether they want to hear them or not,” says Phil Potempa, of The Times of Northwest Indiana.

In 1993, Vicki Quade brought to life an idea for a one woman show that would become the hit comedy, Late Nite Catechism, which has been running in Chicago since 1993 and turned into a national and international hit, with productions in more than 150 cities.

She has written several shows featuring religious humor, including a new line of bingo comedies that also feature Mrs.Mary Margaret O'Brien. Bingo has never funnier!

In addition, each of Quade’s shows is used to raise much needed retirement funds for orders of nuns throughout the country. Through her comedies, Quade has helped raise more than $2 million in donations to various orders of nuns nationwide.

For her work raising awareness of the plight of retired Sisters, Vicki Quade received the Spirit of Benedict Award in 2003 from the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago, and, in 2005, she was given a Partners in Mission Award by the Sisters of the Living Word in Arlington Heights, IL. She was honored in 2009 by the Sisters of Providence in Indiana for donations to that order.
